T-Pain Says That Usher’s Comments Put Him Into A Deep Depression

“This is Pop,” is a show that uncovers the real stories behind your favorite pop songs.
Every episode features a big player in the pop game as they talk about some of their setbacks and achievements.
In a tease for the show, T-Pain stopped by to talk about one of the most hurtful things that happened to him.
In the one minute and a half preview, T-Pain talked about the time he and Usher were flying to the 2013 BET Awards when Usher dropped a big bomb on him.
Usher called T-Pain back to his seat to tell them that he ruined music for people who can sing.
This comment was a play off of how T-Pain used autotune in all of his songs.
T-Pain said that Usher told him that he “really f‑‑ed up music for real singers.”
It was this comment that put T-Pain into a four year long depression.
