Bob Saget’s Cause of Death Revealed

Bob Saget’s Cause of Death Revealed

It’s been just over one month since American stand-up comedian and actor, Bob Saget passed.

Bob Saget was known for many different roles from the host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” father Danny Tanner on “Full House,” and as a touring stand-up comedian.

Saget was doing a show in Jacksonville the night of his passing. Prior to his death, he posted a photo of him on stage with the caption;

“Okay, I loved tonight’s show @pontevedra_concerthall in Jacksonville. Really nice audience. Lots of positivity. Happened last night in Orlando last night at the Hard Rock Live too. Very appreciative and fun audiences…I had no idea I did a two-hour set tonight. I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26. I guess I’m finding my new voice and loving every moment of it.”

He was found unresponsive in his hotel room in Orlando the next day. Original reports said that there were no drugs involved in his passing but his cause of death was up in the air.

Now that the investigation has been completed, his family released a statement on his cause of death.

“The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma. They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it, and went to sleep,” the statement said. “No drugs or alcohol were involved.”

There isn’t any indication of what he hit his head on or where it took place.

The family thanked his fans for their incredible outpouring of love.

They ended the statement by saying;

“As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter.”

We will surely miss the joy that he brought into the late-night scene. The last show he was on was The Masked Singer. He was revealed on November 3rd, 2021 after singing under the mask of the Squiggly Monster.
